Introduction (Simulation)

The physical basis of a dynamics simulation is Newton's second law:
\begin{equation}F=m \cdot a \end{equation}
where F is the total force acting on a point object of mass m, and a is the resulting acceleration
The acceleration awhich is a function of time:
\begin{equation} a=a(t)\end{equation}
The acceleration is also the time derivative of the velocity:
\begin{equation} a=\frac{dv}{dt}\end{equation}
and the velocity is the time derivative of the position:
\begin{equation} v=\frac{dx}{dt}\end{equation}
